Los Angeles: Holland Taylor and Kristen Schaal have boarded the cast of Bill & Ted Face the Music.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Taylor will play the Great Leader, described as "the most powerful person in the universe - the centre of which is San Dimas, California, 700 years in the future", with Schaal portraying Kelly, a messenger from the future. Bill & Ted Face the Music: Gotham’s Baddie Anthony Carrigan to Play the Villain in Keanu Reeves’ Film

Original stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will reprise their roles as Theodore 'Ted' Logan and William 'Bill' S Preston Esq, respectively in the third instalment of the sci-fi franchise. The cast includes Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving, who will play daughters of Ted and Bill. Anthony Carrigan, Scott Mescudi ('Kid Cudi'), Beck Bennett, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch, Hal Landon Jr and Jillian Bell are also a part of the cast. Dean Parisot is directing from original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon's script. The film is slated for an August 21, 2020 release.
