The internet has found a new topic to debate over. Taylor Swift slammed Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun for buying the rights to her first six music albums when acquiring the label Big Machine for a reported $300 million. Justin counter attacked and defended his manager/friend. The industry and fans are in a roar. Big Machine CEO Scott Borchetta. As per Swift, she found about the deal only when it was publicly announced, whereas Borchetta has said that he texted her before the deal went public.

In a blog titled, "So, It’s Time For Some Truth…", posted on Big Machine's website, Scott, wrote, "I guess it might somehow be possible that her dad Scott, 13 Management lawyer Jay Schaudies (who represented Scott Swift on the shareholder calls) or 13 Management executive and Big Machine LLC shareholder Frank Bell (who was on the shareholder calls) didn’t say anything to Taylor over the prior 5 days. I guess it’s possible that she might not have seen my text. But, I truly doubt that she ‘woke up to the news when everyone else did.’”

Taylor had left Big Machine last year for a lucrative deal with Universal Music Group. Taylor criticised in her latest statement that she had pleaded with Big Machine to let her own her work. In response, Scott said Swift was given "every chance in the world to own not just her master recordings, but every video, photograph, everything associated to her career. She chose to leave."

Scott has also posted pictures of the contract that was offered to Taylor in 2018. But there has been no mention of the money that was on the table. Though, he did write, "My offer to Taylor, for the size of our company, was extraordinary. But it was also all I could offer as I am responsible for dozens of artists’ careers and over 120 executives and their families." Check out the blog post by clicking here.

Taylor, on the other hand, has said that Big Machine offered her to own one of her albums every time she submitted a new one. Well, we are expecting a new statement from Taylor's team on these newly released pointers from Big Machine.
