Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange or Brie Larson's Captain Marvel May Join Tom Holland in Spider-Man 3
If all goes well, Marvel may ask Doctor Strange or Captain Marvel to be a part of Spider-Man 3 with Tom Holland. Who else is excited about this piece of news?
After Tony Stark aka Iron Man sacrificed himself in Avengers: Endgame, the post for Spider-Man's mentor is somewhat open. But looks like Marvel has already planned about who they should introduce next with Tom Holland in Spider-Man 3. As per a report in We Got This Covered, there are chances of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange or Brie Larson's Captain Marvel getting included to star with Holland in his next MCU outing.
As per the portal, there are talks about including a major Avenger in Spider-Man 3 like how Iron Man featured in Spider-Man: Homecoming. It could even be Ms Marvel, now that she has been officially introduced in MCU with her own web series on Disney+ but chances of Strange and Captain Marvel being roped in are still more. It would be interesting to see their camaraderie and if an extra excited Spidey will irk Doctor more than he did in Avengers: Infinity War. We personally believe that it will be Captain Marvel who will share the screen space with Tom Holland.
Considering Doctor Strange already has a movie in his kitty with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Marvel is yet to fix a spot for Larson's next, they could easily accommodate her in Spider-Man 3 that releases on July 2021. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson Would Love To Star In An MCU Love-Triangle Between Thor, Valkyrie And Captain Marvel!
Spider-Man returning to the MCU after Disney and Sony's fallout was truly a euphoric moment for all his fans and we should thank Holland for it. It was he who convinced the studio biggies to find a way out and they eventually agreed and drew a plan.
