The Favourite starring Rachel Weisz, Olivia Coleman and Emma Stone is dominating the nomination list of the 72nd BAFTA Awards! Staying true to the title of the film, Yorgos Lanthimos' dark comedy seems to have struck the right chord with the BAFTA committee as they have managed to bag 12 nominations. With 12 nominations, the film is significantly ahead of Rami Malek's Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born, First Man and Roma, which have received seven nominations respectively. Set to take place on February 10 at the Royal Albert Hall, the awards will be hosted by Joanna Lumley for the second time.

It would be interesting to see the winners of BAFTA as the Golden Globe Awards 2019 winners seem to have shocked a lot of fans. With Bohemian Rhapsody raking in the best film trophy, a lot of debate has been sparked as people have shown their love for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star is Born. Will The Favourite manage to stand tall at the BAFTA Awards by bagging more trophies including the important ones? Well, speculations are rife as the nomination list is out. Check out the whole list below.
