The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and Prince Williams made an appearance at the coveted annual BAFTA awards 2019 celebrating the finest of cinema. Their royal entry was expected considering this is their third year in attendance. Apart from the lovely gown Kate was wearing, what caught everyone's eye was her gorgeous earrings.

Those who have followed Princess Diana's style keenly were prompt enough to realise that Kate was wearing the same earrings that belonged to the late princess. The Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing a white one-sided Alexander McQueen gown with which she chose to wear the gorgeous diamond drop earrings with pearls. BAFTA Awards 2019 Full Winners List: The Favourite, Roma, Bohemian Rhapsody Win Gloriously at the Big Ceremony

According to reports, the same earrings were worn by Princess Diana in 1995 when she accepted the Humanitarian of the Year award from the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Of course, this is not the first time that Kate Middleton has taken inspiration from Princess Diana, previously she has been spotted wearing similar outfits to those of Lady Diana at various occasions.

The 72nd edition of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts was held yesterday in London. The awards night saw some interesting wins as actors such as Rami Malek and Mahershala Ali took home big honors.
