The 77th British Academy Film Awards has concluded in London on February 18, 2024, with the former Doctor Who star David Tennant having hosted the awards night. The nominations were earlier announced on January 18, with Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer and Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things garnering the maximum number of nominations. Now that winners have been announced, it is Oppenheimer who owns the show with seven awards, including Best Film, Best Director for Christopher Nolan, Best Actor for Cillian Murphy and Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr. BAFTA 2024 Red Carpet: Ryan Gosling, Deepika Padukone, Emma Stone, Florence Pugh and More – Check Out the Celebs Who Attended 77th Annual BAFTAs (View Pics).

Poor Things comes close with five awards, including Best Actress for Emma Stone. The Zone of Interest won Outstanding British Film and Best Film Not in the English Language. Mia McKenna-Bruce won the EE Rising Star Awards, which was open to public voting. Barbie, shockingly, won not a single award on the night.
