Super Bowl LII turned into Comic-Con, at least that’s what the movie buffs felt on February 4, Sunday. The 2018 event served as a fine platform for latest trailers and teasers of much-awaited movies of the year like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Mission Impossible – Fallout and Solo: A Star Wars Story. But Marvel fans were blown away by the new trailer of Avengers: Infinity War where superheroes are uniting all forces to save our world from Thanos. The video had more of Spiderman, Guardians of the Galaxy team and Thor compared to previous trailers. However, Captain America’s new unconventional shield, most likely given by Black Panther is the winner for us.

The world has faced trouble in the past – against murderous Loki and Chitauri Army in 2012’s The Avengers and the no-nose A.I. Ultron in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the team of superheroes have dealt with them to save the day. But looks like the third edition is going to test the best of Marvel’s popular superheroes. We all are fully aware of the big THREAT Earth is going to be facing in the upcoming superhero flick. It is Thanos, Marvel’s most powerful villain. We have seen Thanos flaunt his gauntlet with infinity stones (not all, not all) in the first trailer as he is ready to cause doomsday.

Unlike the first trailer, the new video puts focus on Tom Holland as Spiderman played by, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and the entire Guardians of the Galaxy team especially a good look at teenage Groot. We also got to see a one-eyed Thor played by Chris Hemsworth. There was a lot of curiosity over the Chris’ appearance with an eye-patch after his character was blinded in one eye by Hela (Cate Blanchett) in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.

Watch: Avengers: Infinity War New Trailer Video

The new trailer which is just 30 seconds is stuffed with superheroes – and we don’t blame the makers because one is going to need an army to battle a power-hungry Thanos. While the recently launched trailer focused on the new guys, the original Avengers cast was not sidelined. We saw Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) displaying his trademark swag, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) ready to fight and win.

However, the show stealer among old Avengers team has to be Chris Evans’ Captain America who looked a complete badass holding a new shield (nice to see him hold a weapon since he ditched his shield in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.) Just like the suit, Black Panther aka T'Challa, king of Wakanda (Chadwick Boseman) has most definitely provided the new shield to Captain America. It is almost impossible to wait until April 25, 2018, the release date, to catch the movie on big screen.
