Creator of many Marvel comics and characters, Stan Lee had passed away on November 12, 2018. The comic legend is quite famous for making cameo appearances in Marvel superhero films. He hasn't missed a single film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with his ever-looming presence explained in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol III as him being one of the eternal Watchers. Even his sad demise couldn't stop Stan Lee from making posthumous appearances in Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse, and now in Avengers: EndGame that he shot for before his passing away. Stan Lee’s Final Cameo to Be in Avengers: EndGame or Spider-Man: Far From Home? Here’s What Joe Russo Has to Say!

When Joe Russo came to India, he mentioned that EndGame could be Stan Lee's last appearance on screen, a fact that was later confirmed in the South Korean fan event. So where does Stan Lee appear in the film and in what form? Read ahead with caution, for the below article contains a BIG SPOILER about the film.

During a particular scene, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Captain America (Chris Evans) travel back to 2012 to the events of the first Avengers film to retrieve the Tesseract. Thanks to an incident involving the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston). So they do the next best plan and travel back to 1975 when they know that Tesseract was in the custody of SHIELD army headquarters. Avengers EndGame Movie Review: Marvel’s Superhero Film Is an Emotionally Wrenching, Enriching FanBoy Experience That Goes for Your Heart!

Watch our review of Avengers: EndGame here:

While Cap and Iron Man drive to the SHIELD base, they pass a car, that is driven by a young Stan Lee. With a female company by side, he screams at the heroes, saying 'Make Love, Not War!' In case you wonder about the significance of his quote, remember, 1975 was the time when the USA was involved in the Vietnam War. So this slogan was used by the anti-war supporters to end the war and bring the soldiers back.

While he may have gone unnamed, this could be Stan Lee playing himself. Like he did in Captain Marvel, where he was seen reading the script of Mallrats, a movie where he again played himself. God, we will miss this man's future appearance in MCU, just like we will miss a few superhero characters from MCU, whose journeys end with Avengers: EndGame.
