In a surprise weekday treasure blast, the makers of Avengers: Endgame dropped a new trailer of the film. Yet again, they have shared enough content to put the fan theories to good use. With inclusions of new characters such as Okoye, Nebula and Captain Marvel joining the team Avengers to undo what Thanos did with his decimating snap, new prospective fan theories have been put to place. A poster starring the new Avengers was also released by the official page. However, they did mess up bad and found themselves in a soup with Twitter backlash.

On the poster, while they mentioned every character's name on the poster, they missed out Black Panther actress Danai Gurira's name in the poster top-line credits. While Okoye's character is prominently present on the poster as she holds her spear, the absence of her name on the credits did irk several fans on Twitter.

People started pointing at how they should have respected Gurira by mentioning her name as she is one of the pivotal characters in the film. Debates of diversity and inclusion were also stated by Twitter users. Could it be that Okoye's character was added much later in the poster and hence they forgot to add her name in the credits? Or could it be that they missed out as speculated?

Following the backlash, Marvel did release a new poster with Gurira's name on it. They tweeted, "She should have been up there all this time. Check out the official Marvel Studios' #AvengersEndgame poster. @DanaiGurira #WakandaForever" with a rectified picture.

Avengers: Endgame is set to release on April 26, 2019. The ensemble cast stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Danai Gurira, Josh Brolin, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Brie Larson among many others.
