It's an open secret that Marvel stars Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk) and Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) are the worst when it comes to withholding spoilers. In 2017, during the show Good America America, Mark Ruffalo accidentally let out the fact 'everybody dies' in Avengers: Infinity War, before being told off by Don Cheadle (James Rhodes/War Machine) who had accompanied him to the show. A year later, when Infinity War came out, we found out that Ruffalo's 'leak' was somewhat true - half the universe did die in Infinity War, thanks to Thanos' snap. Mark Ruffalo Claims He Shot Five Endings For Avengers Endgame and Captain America is Married in One of Them!

So Marvel was really careful around both Ruffalo and Holland, giving them fake scripts and dummy scenes to shot. Holland was not even told which character he would be interacting in a particular scene. So with all the secrecy, you would think that Marvel managed to stop Ruffalo and Holland from ruining EndGame.

Well, Tom Holland didn't need to promote the film, as his character was considered 'dead' before EndGame. But Mark Ruffalo did let out a SPOILER before the release of the film. Only we were too busy laughing at it!

So what happened? While promoting Avengers: EndGame before the film's premiere on E!News, Ruffalo revealed, "I shot, like, five different endings to this movie. I didn't even get a whole script to this movie. And I don't know why. The script I did get had dummy scenes in it." One of the dummy scenes he had shot for, he said, has Captain America (Chris Evans) getting married.

And funnily, enough, that's exactly what happens during the ending of Avengers: EndGame. In the movie's final scene (HUGE SPOILERS ABOUT THE FILM AHEAD), Captain America goes back in time to place the Infinity Stones in the timeline, from where they had taken before. But he never returns, and instead Bucky (Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) find out Cap as an old man, who went back in time to the '40s to live the life he had missed out on when he went into the ice at the end of Captain America: The First AvengerAvengers EndGame Movie Review: Marvel’s Superhero Film Is an Emotionally Wrenching, Enriching FanBoy Experience That Goes for Your Heart!

He gives Sam his shield and we find out that there is a wedding band on his finger, Sam asks about his wife, but Steve smiled and doesn't reveal who he got married. However, for us, the movie takes us back in time to the '40s, where we see Steve and his first love, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) slow dancing to the song, 'It's Been A Long, Long, Time'. Cap had married Peggy.

So yeah, Mark Ruffalo continues to keep the title of 'King of Spoilers', but we, the viewers, didn't manage to get the truth of it then! Way to go, Markie! I wonder what the rest of the dummy scenes that he had shot for in Avengers: EndGame!
