Remember the time in the '90s when the last movie show used to be at 9 PM. With the rise of multiplexes, the movie shows were extended to begin as late as 11:45 PM. Well, now the game is set to change once again as theatres will be playing Avengers: Endgame 24x7. Who knew a Hollywood superhero movie will bring about this new change in India. We all have at least heard one person complaining about the lack of Avengers: Endgame tickets on the opening weekend. To curb the problem, multiplex chains will be having multiple screenings of the movie post-mid-night, till the next morning shows. Avengers Endgame Breaks Box Office Record; One Million Tickets Sold In 24 Hours in India!

A report by Hungama reveals that the distributors of Avengers: Endgame in India were somehow able to secure permissions to have screenings post-mid-night. A source, from a multiplex chain, told the portal, "The permission came through today and we were informed of the same verbally. The permission however is given only for Avengers: Endgame. We are now sitting down to chalk the programming for these post-midnight shows. However, as of now we are planning to have these shows only in A-tier cities and especially in IMAX and 4DX versions.” After Making the Highest Pre-Sales Record in 24 Hours, Avengers: Endgame Tickets Are Being Sold on Ebay for Over $2000.

This move will be certainly welcomed by movie buffs, who like late night viewings. We do wonder if this 24x7 screening privilege is extended to homegrown movies or not in the future. It also to be known for how many days Avengers: Endgame would enjoy this privilege.

Earlier, in the US, owing to the demands of tickets for Avengers: Endgame, a theatre chain had kickstarted the trend of all-day screenings. This certainly gives the movie a boost over any other movie ever in the world. While the number of screens remains the same, increased shows will help the movie break box-office records faster than any other movie in the world.
