Marvel fans of India has something big to rejoice. The worldwide promotional campaign of Avengers: EndGame has begun in India with Joe Russo, one of the directors of the film (the other being his brother Anthony) in the country. Joe Russo has been in Mumbai to meet the media and the Indian fans here and talk about the film, without, of course, offering any spoilers. He also launched the Indian anthem for Avengers: EndGame that has been composed and sung by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Avengers: Endgame Indian Anthem: AR Rahman Teams Up With The Marvel Superheroes And Delivers A Catchy Track - Watch Video!

During the media interaction, Joe Russo revealed quite a lot of information about Marvel in general, as well as his own taste in cinema, and what he knows of Bollywood. He revealed that he has seen Salman Khan's Dabangg, while he is in talks with Priyanka Chopra for a project, not sure if it is related to Marvel, or something entirely different.

When it came to Marvel, Joe was asked about, personally, which superhero among the Avengers he could relate to the most. We expected him to reply Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr, the most popular Avenger around. Or Captain America, considering it was directing the excellent Captain America: The Winter Soldier that made the Russo Brothers the mainstay of Marvel Cinematic Universe and got them the Infinity War saga gig. Priyanka Chopra in Talks with Avengers: Endgame Director Joe Russo for a Project and We Wonder If It’s Ms Marvel AKA Kamala Khan.

However, his answer somewhat surprised us. But then it shouldn't! Joe replied, "Spider-Man! He was my favourite character growing up. I just related to him when I started reading comic books when I was ten years old. The idea of a boy who was tasked with incredible responsibility in the Shakespearean weight of the death of his uncle, who is his father figure. It seemed very powerful to me as a child. I think things that impact you as a child stay with you for most of your life emotionally. So I don't know if I ever connect with a character the way I connect with Spider-Man for that reason."

Going by the sentiments attached by Joe Russo to Spidey, it feels justified that the Russo Brothers get the chance to introduce Peter Parker in MCU through Avengers: Infinity War. And it might have felt painful to have him 'killed' in Avengers: Infinity War.

The Death scene of Spider-Man in Avengers: Infinity War:

Considering Spidey is well and alive in Spider-Man: Far From Home, that is scheduled to release in July, three months after EndGame, we are sure that Avengers might have found out a way to make him and the rest of the dead superheroes alive. How, we may have to wait and watch till April 26 for Avengers: EndGame to arrive.
