Avengers: Endgame has completed just a week in theatres and it has already broken many records at the Indian box office. The superhero film arrived in theatres on April 26 and immediately stormed the ticket windows. So much so that it ended up becoming the biggest opener of 2019 and also the highest week 1 grosser in India, leaving behind all the big-budget Hindi films. On second Friday, the film continued its good run at the box office as it collected in two-digit figures. According to trade portals, the 22nd Marvel movie raked in Rs 12 crore on Friday, bringing its total eight-day collection to Rs 272.40 crore which is superlative, to say the least.

Further, Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "The film has seen drops in the regional versions over the last two days but the English version is strong in the bigger cities. The Friday business probably puts the 400 crore nett mark out of reach and the target will be the all-format business of Dangal which was around 387 crore nett. That may prove to be tough also as these action Hollywood blockbuster collections do have big weekly drops.
