The response to Avengers: Endgame has been mindblowing. The film currently has everyone under its spell and the repeat audience for it is unlike anything we have seen before. Endgame is almost at the brink of making it to the biggest film of all time. The box office has been ringing with huge numbers for the Marvel film from across the globe. As of May 3, the film's global collections stand at approximately $1.91 billion (estimated). In North America, Endgame has crossed $500 million in domestic ticket sales, making it the 9th Disney film to do so. Looking at the film's current performance, it sure seems like it will be beating, Avengers: Infinity War's $2.05 billion and Star Wars: The Force Awakens' $2.07 billion collections. According to the Deadline, the superhero film could cross the benchmark by the end of Saturday. It will become the fifth movie in history to gross over $2 billion.

With Endgame reaching the $2 billion mark over its second weekend, it seems that the film may just be giving Avatar the toughest competition if it continues to work well over the weekdays. The movie is in for a big second weekend with little competition expected from this week's releases, El Chicano, The Intruder, Long Shot, and UglyDolls.

In India, Avengers: Endgame has already become will reach the Rs 300 crore mark by Sunday. The film has already set records as it became the biggest opener of 2019 and also the highest week 1 grosser in India, leaving behind all the big-budget Hindi films.
