Avengers 4: Will Black Panther's Shuri Bring Back This Avenger From the Dead?
In case you have not watched Avengers Infinity War, don't read ahead. For there are SPOILERS GALORE!
Avengers Infinity War is still the topic of discussion among all superhero movie fans. The movie has been working wonders at the box office, be it in North America, or in India or everywhere else (except in China, where it will release on May 11). But let's talk about the box office in some other story. Here's let's talk about that awesome climax that left everyone in the theatre stunned, and one little implication that we might have overlooked. In case you have not watched Avengers Infinity War, don't read ahead. For there are SPOILERS GALORE!
In the end, nearly half of the superheroes we have met in the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets killed by Thanos (Josh Brolin)' snap. One Avenger, however, gets killed by Thanos before the snap so that he can get the Mind Stone and that happens to be Vision (Paul Bettany). The only unlucky one to get two deaths in a matter of seconds, Vision's demise was needed for Thanos to get his hands on the Mind Stone. But is Vision really gone for good?
His lifeless grey body, after Thanos had his way with him, certainly says so. But we are forgetting an important sequence that came before that. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman)'s sister Shuri (Letitia Wright), who is a tech wizard, was trying to replicate the Mind Stone so that she could replace it in Vision's head and let the real stone be destroyed by Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
But before she could complete the process, or so we assume Corvius Glave attacks her lab and strikes her unconscious, forcing Vision to take him out into the open. We are left with the feeling that the mission failed. But what if Shuri managed to succeed?
There is a chance that she might have replicated the Mind Stone but didn't get the time to place it on Vision's head. Otherwise, why would the makers spend so much time discussing this, if all the efforts have to go to waste?
I will also want you to two important lines uttered by Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). Mark Ruffalo tells Vision that he still has a choice at life, as he is made out of the intellect of Tony Stark, Ultron, Banner, JARVIS and then the Mind Stone. So the replicated stone, if done, could bring him back. Rogers also tells Vision that 'we don't trade lives'. I am sure that line will come back to Vision in Avengers 4 (even though he throws back the line at Rogers after saving him from Glave).
So what do you think? Will Vision return for Avengers 4 to take down Thanos? Share your thoughts below.
