Actors Gabriel Luna, Diego Boneta and Natalia Reyes have joined the cast of the new 'Terminator' film. Franchise veterans, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger, are reprising their roles in the new film which, according to James Cameron, will be a direct sequel to his 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day'.

According to reports, Reyes will play the role of Dani, a young woman from a working class neighborhood in Mexico City who finds herself in the battle between humans and machines. The Colombian actor is best known for Sony's Latin American series 'Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas' and original film 'Pickpockets'.

Luna will play a Terminator robot while Boneta will play Dani's brother.

Actor Mackenzie Davis, who was also cast recently, will be playing a soldier-assassin from the future. The film will be directed by 'Deadpool' helmer Tim Miller from the story crafted by Cameron. Cameron will produce the project along with David Ellison
