As she spoke to the magazine, Grande explained how her songs actually represent some really heavy stuff. “I was researching healing and PTSD and talking to therapists, and everyone was like, ‘You need a routine, a schedule,’ ” Grande said as she yanked off a pair of black high platform ankle boots by Sergio Rossi. Further speaking about her music, she told Vogue, “Of course because I’m an extremist, I’m like, OK, I’ll go on tour! But it’s hard to sing songs that are about wounds that are so fresh.
