Piers Morgan literally has nothing good to say and celebrities won't have it! The recent one to have given a befitting reply to Piers' derogatory comments is Ariana Grande. Although she wasn't directly involved in the feud she had to speak up when her mother got involved in a chit-chat with him on Twitter. It might sound very confusing but let us break it down for you in a chronological order.
It started off with Piers Morgan debating about the image of Little Mix on ITV's Good Morning Britain where he trashed the girl band for posing naked and coming up with a provocative album cover to sell their work. He accused them of "using sex to sell records." Basically, the girl band stripped down to nothing but with insults written all over their body as they promoted their song Strip. The band even told BBC's Mark Savage that the point of the image was to represent the flaws and "how far they've come" on a journey toward "self-love".
Women supporting women, accepting, loving, caring. The world I wanna live in. This made me so emotional, thank you for showing what real beauty and confidence is. STRIP! @LittleMix #StripMusicVideo #STRIP pic.twitter.com/C2RVEExuzE

But Morgan didn't buy their message of body image positivity and claimed, "Here's a great idea, girls - if you want to really empower yourselves, get naked and put the word slut all over your body," on his programme. He further added, Why don't we stop pretending that getting your kit off is feminist empowerment?" Morgan later shared a picture on Twitter quoting, "Hey @LittleMix - when are you going to admit you stole this idea from @dixiechicks?"

While that spat continued, Ariana's name got involved when Piers accused Ellen DeGeneres of showing hypocrisy on her show, The Ellen Degeneres show by sharing thirsty pictures of celebrated handsome men, some partially clothed. To this, Grande's mother Joan tweeted, "Honestly what is wrong with you @piersmorgan? Didn’t your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it! You came for @TheEllenShow yesterday which was disgraceful, she is an angel. @LittleMix today, did you ever hear of paying homage? And..well never mind"

The presenter retorted back by stating, "Hi Joan, my mother taught me to speak my mind & never be afraid to express honestly held opinion.
Ellen's a hypocrite - and as for Little Mix, I'd just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity.
As your own daughter does...!"

Hence, joined Grande with a series of tweets stating, "Ellen is an incredible & kind human being.. I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because I choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it’s OUR choice. 🖤 & we will keep fighting til people understand. I say this w all due respect but thank u, next." She also supported Little Mix and added, "keep fighting the fight divas @LittleMix 🖤 your sisters have your back" And finally concluded with, "also @piersmorgan, i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do. i think that’ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what’s left of it. 🖤"

To her tweets, she received love from both, Ellen and Little Mix who tweeted, "I ❤️ you, @JoanGrande and @ArianaGrande, and everyone in this world who celebrates all people inclusively." and "thank you ♥️ what we do with our bodies is our choice and we felt liberated owning the negative words thrown at us as women. We’ll never stop talking/writing music about issues that affect so many women around the world. We have a voice to use it! we love you Ari 🖤 the girls x" respectively.
I ❤️ you, @JoanGrande and @ArianaGrande, and everyone in this world who celebrates all people inclusively.

But Piers remained glued to his point as he replied, Hi Ariana! How lovely to hear from you so soon after your mother. Of course, women can do what they like - but if they/you use nudity to sell records to impressionable young female fans, I'll continue to call them/you out on it. All due respect, but thank YOU. Next..."
Hi Ariana!
How lovely to hear from you so soon after your mother.
Of course, women can do what they like - but if they/you use nudity to sell records to impressionable young female fans, I'll continue to call them/you out on it.
All due respect, but thank YOU. Next... https://t.co/PpRK5Wqs92

Now now, young lady - my career's doing just fine thanks.
For the record, I criticise/praise everyone - male, female, gender-fluid.
Indeed, I've written columns praising AND criticising you, and you deserved both. https://t.co/vfsDNqzYLl

Damn, talk about controversy! From the whole row, Morgan is the only one who seemed to be pleased with its outcome. He found his name trending on Twitter too, without having to promote it himself. He even thanked Ariana for helping him gain the trends. *scoffs* some people!
