'Thank u, next' singer Ariana Grande seems to be having a tougher 2019 with various plagiarism accusations directed towards her. Earlier last week as the singer released her latest single, '7 Rings', it wasn't appreciated by various rappers, who have called her out for plagiarism.

Shortly after Grande revealed her new single, rapper Princess Nokia pointed out that the singer had stolen her lyrics and flow of the song. Nokia, whose real name is Destiny Nicole Frasqqueri, took to her social media account to point out how Grande's latest single was flicked from her song, Mine. Following Nokia's accusations, two more rappers also opened up and expressed how their songs were also stolen by the singer.

Rappers, Soulja Boy and 2 Chainz, explicitly called out the singer for stealing the title of the song '7 Rings' from his track Pretty Boy Swag. He wrote, "Give me my credit. Period." He also added, "Lol stop stealing my swag. Word," and followed it up with a, "You're a thief." Another rapper, MC 2 Chainz, an Atlanta-based rapper stated the similarities 7 Rings' video had with his song video, Door Swangin'.

His complaints were regarding the video with respect to it's 'hot pink trap house' set up where 7 Rings were shot. The theme is similar to his song. Going by Soulja Boy aka Big Draco's reference in his Instagram page, 2 Chainz captioned his post, "Tryna figure out if I should Big Draco Ariana Grande. You all tell me in the comments. #bigdracovibesall2019" You can check out both the videos below.

So far Grande hasn't commented on any of the accusations directed towards her new single, 7 Rings. The diva did drop the track after midnight on Friday which sampled the 11965 hit musical The Sound of Music's My Favourite Things. The song also emphasises on the hardships she faced in the past year including the death of former boyfriend Mac Miller and breakup with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The lyrics of the song go like this - “Wearing a ring, but ain’t gon’ be no ‘Mrs.’/ Bought matching diamonds for six of my b**ches/I’d rather spoil all my friends with my riches,” which is a true story.
