Actor Harry Hains who starred in popular series such as FX's American Horror Story, Netflix's The OA passed away aged 27. Hains' mother Jane Badler confirmed the news through Instagram on Friday as she posted details for his memorial service. Confirming the news Badler wrote, "On Jan. 7 my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet. But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction."

Hains' mother also included information regarding his memorial service, which she said is set to be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Sunday. In her post Badler stated that Hains was struggling with addiction and mental illness. She wrote, "On Jan. 7 my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet. But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction," Badler wrote in her caption, along with multiple photos of Harry, "A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time ... I will miss you Harry every day of my life."

Hains starred in one episode of American Horror Story and has also had parts in TV series Sneaky Pete. He also starred in 2015 drama The Surface. X-Men actor Shawn Ashmore sent condolences to Jane and her family on her post and wrote,"I am so sorry for you loss Jane!!"
