American Crime Story is all set to renew a new season and their prime focus will be the sex scandal that broke out between former President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky. The same was announced by FX, the studio supporting the anthology series that has previously given us OJ Simpson and the murder of Gianni Versace. Titled, Impeachment: American Crime Story, the show will see Beanie Feldstein and Sarah Paulson. Reports state that Feldstein of Lady Bird fame will play Monica Lewinsky on the show. Meanwhile, Sarah Paulson will play Lewinsky's confidante Lind Tripp, who infamously recorded the phone conversations of Clinton and Lewinsky without her knowledge. The first season of American Crime Story starred Paulson and even brought her an Emmy for portraying Marcia Clark on the show's season The People vs O.J. Simpson. The show basically re-examines the exhaustive trials and scandals that broke out and shook the world in the 1990s. The second season titled, The Assassination of Gianni Versace, explained how Andrew Cunanan came to assassinate the famed fashion designer. For the new season, Lewinsky will be joined by Paulson, Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, and Alexis Martin Woodall, who will be executive producers.
Impeachment: American Crime Story, is all set to debut on September 27, 2020 and will be written by Sarah Burgess.
