Celebrities have often been soft targets for cybercrime. The most recent one is Amanda Seyfried, whose personal and intimate pictures from the past resurfaced on social media. The Mamma Mia actress fell victim to cybercrime as some intimate and explicit pictures of her resurfaced on social media. While you would expect internet trolls to 'slut shame' her for the pictures, fans defended the actress.

Empowering and defensive messages started pouring in for the actress as someone wrote, “What I love about this Amanda Seyfried situation, is the number of people hyping her up instead of slut-shaming,” one fan said on Twitter. “I’m sorry they got leaked though, that’s a disgusting invasion of privacy.” Another fan said, “She clearly loved him. That private intimacy SHOULDN’T have been shared.” One thoughtful fan requested netizens to not share photos of Seyfried to respect her privacy even though it fell in the wrong hands. “[It] is also a reminder that those photos were more than likely not for everyone to see. For the sake of her privacy, don’t share them! Celebrities are people too!!!”

More love poured in as a fan or a well-wisher asked the individual be reported on Twitter, “Please report any account posting those Amanda Seyfried images. No person deserves having their sex life made a mockery of especially when those photos were leaked WITHOUT HER CONSENT.” So far Amanda hasn't commented on the leak yet. It is sad enough that the pictures have resurfaced again despite Seyfried getting over it in the past. Let's hope things settle down and it doesn't affect the actress!
