Will Smith starrer Aladdin is giving a tough competition to India's Most Wanted and PM Narendra Modi at the Indian box office. The Hollywood biggie released alongside the two films on May 24 and got off to a good start. After leaving behind Arjun Kapoor starrer and Vivek Oberoi's political drama at the ticket windows on day 1, Aladdin went on to perform even better over the opening weekend and raked in more moolah than the two Bollywood releases. The musical fantasy not only got cash registers ringing on Saturday but it also witnessed a sharp jump on Sunday too. Aladdin Box Office Collection Day 2: Will Smith's Movie Is Dominating the Ticket Windows In India, Earns Rs 10.75 Crore

Just a while back, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter timeline, "#Aladdin emerges the first choice of moviegoers... Biz jumps on Day 3 [vis-à-vis Day 1]... Fares much better than the two #Hindi releases... Needs to maintain the pace on weekdays... Fri 4.25 cr, Sat 6.50 cr, Sun 7.75 cr. Total: ₹ 18.50 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross: ₹ 22.03 cr."

Further, Boxofficeindia.com stated, "Aladdin did well in its first weekend picking up well on Sunday to record collections of over 18 crore nett.
