More trouble for Cuba Gooding Jr as three more women have claimed to have been victims to Jr's sexual misconduct. These allegations come months after Gooding Jr was accused of groping a woman at a New York City rooftop bar.
Cuba Gooding Jr is facing more sexual misconduct allegation as three more women have accused him of the act. A source has quoted to People that three unidentified women are being investigated for their claims against Gooding Jr. So far no charges have been pressed against the American Crime Story: People Vs OJ Simpson actor. On the same, the actor's attorney has stated that the claims by the three women are not credible. In a statement shared by Mark J Heller, it reads, “Reportedly, there have been three additional ladies claiming sexual misconduct on Cuba’s part, one going as far back as 2008. None of those is credible.” He further added, “They certainly won’t be incorporated into the indictment for which we’ll appear in court tomorrow.” Heller concluded the statement by adding, “There is no proof of any criminal conduct on Cuba’s part.” Oscar Award-Winning Actor Cuba Gooding Jr Accused Of Groping A Woman Inappropriately At An NYC Club
On the same, Sergeant Jessica McRorie, a spokesperson for the NYPD Deputy Commission gave a statement to People, “The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors.” Even NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea added, “As it has been reported for some time, several sexual assault complaints that have been worked on by our Special Victims Division under Chief Harrison. A lot of good work. There are active criminal investigations that are right now being prosecuted,” although it was unclear if he was speaking solely of accusations against Gooding." Neither of them has directly commented on Cuba Gooding Jr though.
Currently, Cuba Gooding Jr is facing trial. Earlier this year, he was charged with sexual misconduct and a misdemeanour for forcible groping a woman and sexually abusing her at a New York City rooftop bar. He pled not guilty to both the charges. On the same, law enforcement also received a security camera footage which verifies the claims of the woman.
