Fans of Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan were disappointed when they learnt that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah, has been stalled. The film would have brought together Alia and Salman on the screen for the very first time. It was all unbelievable until an official announcement was made by Bhansali Productions on their Twitter account. While the fans were disheartened, Alia, we hear was also majorly upset with Salman and SLB both, considering she let go off a film with Aamir Khan to be a part of Inshallah.

In the latest development, SLB is apparently hasn't given up on his film and very much plans to go ahead with it. At least that's what an ETimes report states. Sanjay apparently is looking to cast another actor now that Salman is not a part of the project with another actor. Alia will still be the lead actress of the film, the report further reads. Inshallah: Is Waluscha De Sousa the Reason Behind Salman Khan-Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Differences? Actress Reveals Truth.

A close source of Sanjay has revealed to the portal that a massive fortune was spent in the pre-production of Inshallah and SLB doesn't want it to go to waste. Hence the director has resolved to continue the project without Salman and rework on the script, making a few changes.

After the announcement, Salman did talk about Inshallah in an interview with Mumbai Mirror where he said, "Sanjay was a friend even before we started working on Khamoshi. He had come to meet me through Manisha Koirala. After that, we collaborated on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. When he came to me with this film, I liked it and we decided to work together again. One thing I can say is that Sanjay won’t do gaddaari with his film. I want him to make the film he wants to make. Nothing changes between us as friends and I’m sure nothing has changed in Sanjay’s heart for me. I’m extremely close to his mother (Leela) and sister (Bela). I wish him all the best. He and I will still work in future on a film, Inshallah.”
