Music is an art of creativity and many millennials in today’s time are making their careers in the music industry. Ikemefuna Spencer Chidera from Nigeria is a popular and upcoming artist who is grabbing everyone’s attention on the internet. He was born on January 30, 1996, and is a recording artist, songwriter, music producer and an actor. Without any doubt, he is a guy with many talents and a true artist who has recorded and produced amazing music which topped the charts and went up to 1.2 million streams online.
In 2013, he moved to Toronto, Canada where he attended his college. The next year he furthered his education in International Development and Economics as a joint major and passed out in Summer 2019. Music has always been his passion and since his childhood, he was hooked to the whole concept of music. He started his career as a musician in 2017 on SoundCloud when he released his first song named ‘Sweet Love’. However, he recorded the song in 2015 but released it two years later to improve his creativity in music. Interestingly, he has been a self-taught music producer who started with no knowledge and zero skills and is now hitting the right chord of perfection. His hard work and true dedication to learning music production helped him get radio plays at City 105.1 FM in his native country, Nigeria.
Spencer became a past master in music by himself after which he released his hit song ‘Classic Girl’ which went on to garner more than 500,000 plays on SoundCloud in the year 2018. Besides being an artist, he is also a human rights advocate. With the help of social media, the 23-year old lad is inspiring people who are scared to raise their voice against injustice happening. The young guy who began his career two years back is growing and how. Spencer recently released a new single titled ‘Ifunanya’ which is an R&B song and is available on iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud and other music platforms.
