Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not known the most beautiful woman of the world for nothing! The former Miss World recently walked at the Cannes Film Festival for the 17th time which in itself is a huge achievement. There are innumerable fans of this Bollywood beauty across the globe and one of them is Game of Thrones fame Nikolaj Coster-Waldau aka Jamie Lannister. People’s favourite GoT character adores Ash, reports India today.

When the actor was told about Aishwarya’s 17th appearance at Cannes, he was quoted saying, “Seventeen years! Wow! That's quite something and she is so stunning. She is the global ambassador, isn't she?" The blue-eyed goddess walked in Rami Kadi and Michael Cinco outfits and as usual gained appreciation.

The Fanne Khan actress also made her debut on Instagram just a day before her red-carpet appearance. Talking about it, she told in an interview, “I didn’t want to join any kind of social media for the longest time because I felt it was a last race. Everyone was getting into it like it was some barometer of popularity and everyone wants to put everything out. It’s a constant energy drain. At the same time, I’ve had so many well-wishers worldwide saying that they enjoyed the connect so they would be creating these sites. And, I think I just finally gave in, just to Instagram, because it’s easy and I’m just beginning and it’s going to be extremely slow. Hopefully steady, so let’s see.”

Well, we won’t be surprised if ‘Lannister’ starts following Ash on Instagram very soon now! Meanwhile, GoT will be releasing its last season (Season 8) in 2019.
