In an unfortunate turn of events, filmmaker Parthiepan was robbed recently. As per the reports in Behindwoods, the director’s office in Thiruvanmyur was robbed and the news surfaced like a wild fire. According to the reports, his award trophies, accolades and a few valuable items were stolen from his office. However, Parthiepan is not very happy with the coverage of the news by the media. He instead advised them to focus on important issues than his personal theft.

The portal quoted Parthiepan saying, “"It is a personal loss to me, and I can handle the issue. I am not interested in this news going to the media and channels, and I do not want the attention to turn my way ... it would be nice if we can direct people towards that, and not this. It would be good if my personal issue is not exaggerated. People have other issues to follow. (sic).”

On the filmy front, his previous movie Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga was a huge dud at the ticket windows. However, he is working on another script now. The filmmaker is set for Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram where he will be seen with Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma, Simran, Raadika Sarathkumar and Dhivyadarshini.
