Smita Gondkar turned out to be the dark horse of Bigg Boss Marathi season one. Who would have thought the otherwise soft-spoken and seemingly bewildered Smita would make it the top three? Known for her bold and beautiful image in the Marathi film industry, Gondkar knows how to play her cards without making things toxic for herself or for others. It's her modesty as indeed her ability to connect with the audience made Smita oh-so-popular. She may not have won the title, but she won tonnes of accolades, praise and hearts. One must also add that her 'bold' presence in the house helped her garner votes!
So when Smita turned up in LatestLY office to talk about her journey in Bigg Boss, we could not help but ask her about her bold image. "I am absolutely comfortable wearing a bikini. When I visit places like Goa or go abroad I wear a bikini without any hesitation. So when my mother insisted that I must don a bikini inside the glass-walled house, all she meant was I must be myself," clarifies Smita.
