It is unfortunate that the third instalment of Tigmanshu Dhulia's Saheb, Biwi aur Gangster series has not succeeded at wooing the audience. The dark and intense drama was supposed to keep the cinegoers hooked. But in spite of the welcome addition in the form of Sanjay Dut and Chitrangda Singh, SBAG 3 has failed to impress critics and audiences. This is not exactly good news for Tigmanshu Dhulia's fans who vouch for the director's ability to dish out hatke stories.

In the third instalment, the characters have tried to struggle their way out through the norms and build an empire for themselves, according to their own rules. They can kill for power, they have in them an unusual lust for life and can die for honour. In spite of these new twists and progression in previous characters Biiw and the falling royal prince played by Mahie Gill and Jimmy Shergill, the movie has not able to receive anticipated footfalls!

In an exclusive interaction with LatestLY, Dhulia discussed how the changing taste when it comes to movie watching, coupled with the behaviour of moviegoers is responsible for marring content-driven films. " It is strange that youth is interested only in a spectacle or something really dramatic. They go to watch a circus in the form of a superhero film. They want to enjoy a spectacle with a bucket of popcorn and cola. Looks like nobody is interested in rich stories," complained Dhulia.

Saheb, Biwi and Gangster 3 is facing a stiff competition from Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible-Fallout! One also notices that Tom Cruise's movie has slowed down the pace of Dhadak which was doing reasonably well at the Box Office. Mission impossible is only growing stronger at BO thanks to the adrenaline rush and the intense action sequences it promises!
