Mind you he has done this in a natural way as he revealed, "I've lost weight for my films Sooryavanshi and Bachchan Pandey. I've shed about five to six kilos. I have lost weight naturally. I don't diet, I just increase my workout. I do everything naturally. If you think that I've started eating less, you're wrong. I still have paranthas,” said Akshay. Wow! We definitely love the paratha bit though, not sure about working out in the gym.
Talking about Bachchan Pandey, it was revealed that this one will be clashing with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha next year in December. Talking about this clash, Akshay in an interview with PTI said, "It is always a good sign that the two movies do not come at the same time. It is good that it (clash) is averted. However, the clash between any two films is likely to happen. We are making 210 Hindi films and we have 52 weeks in a year so we are bound to have two or more films releasing on the same date."
As for Sooryavanshi, it was going to clash with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt's Inshallah during the Eid weekend next year, but this clash has been averted. Sooryavanshi has been directed by Rohit Shetty and will also star Katrina Kaif.
