Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood’s war of words after the latter walked out of Manikarnika made headlines. But inside story of the fallout seems to be slightly different. Reports suggested that Sonu had quit Kangana’s film and then came news of how the director Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi too left the film midway. While the makers confirmed this news stating that it was Krishna’s other movie project that demanded for the director leave the project mid-way insiders reveal that the filmmaker and Kangana had differences that could not be resolved. And if the hush-hush talks in the industry is anything to go by then Krishna’s walking out of the film was a reason why Sonu Sood too left the movie.
Even though Kangana’s spokespersons insisted that Sonu had quit the film because he did not want to work under a female director. The Dabangg dude hit back at Kangana for playing the feminist and victim card always. But if those close to the project are to be believed then Kangana was upset with Sonu’s bond with the director. Apparently Sood’s personal bond with Krishna resulted in the extension of his role. Sonu’s character was to be out of the film ahead of the interval, but he got a longer screen time on paper after negotiation with his director friend. Kangana was not too pleased with these changes and when the director was out Kangana decided to go back to the original script.
Some also suggest that Kangana was ghost directing Manikarnika and Krishna was not very comfortable with her interference. While the movie might not make to its scheduled release date and those who were waiting for Kangana and Hrithik Roshan’s box office clash will be disappointed. Kangana had now taken over the movie and will be the captain of the ship. Even as watchers are unsure about Kangana’s new role in this film her co-star Ankita Lokhande seems very excited by this move.

Apparently after the Manikarnika fallout, the actress’ next film Panga makers have included a special non-interference clause. Along with Kangana, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari will also be directing Richa Chadda in this film.
