Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are officially man and wife. The couple got engaged on November 13 and even hosted a grand sangeet party. Yesterday, on November 14 the couple tied the knot as per Konkani traditions. The close family and guests were seen in ethereal white looks, which we assume was the theme of the day. The couple is yet to release their wedding pic. While we did get a look of Ranveer as groom, we’re yet to see pics of Deepika Padukone’s bridal avatar. Now that Ranveer-Deepika are married we bet fans are eager to know if the actress will change her name post marriage?

Will Deepika Padukone continue with her maiden name or is the actress going to opt for a name change. Is Deepika Padukone going to adopt her now husband Ranveer Singh’s onscreen surname or will she take up the Sindhi surname ‘Bhavnani’? Or in true Bollywood style the Padmaavat actress will be called Deepika Padukone Singh post her marriage? Well, we bet this is an ongoing discussion in fan clubs. Only Deepika can answer this question. However, considering that fans are dying for the couple’s wedding pics, we bet this debate will seem a little dry at the moment.

Deepika and Ranveer will get married again Today in Sindhi traditions, Anand Karaj. After which around 6pm the couple is expected to share their official wedding pic with fans on social media. The couple opted for an extremely private ceremony and we saw that security arrangements were not just made at the resort that the wedding was taking place in, but also personnel were deputed in the surrounding Lake Como to avoid the paparazzi from clicking the couple. Guests too had a strict diktat about no use of mobile phones and cameras during the wedding.

After the Italian destination wedding, Deepika and Ranveer will be hosting not one or two, but three receptions for their family and friends in India. The couple is expected to take a short honeymoon trip post the wedding as both Ranveer and Deepika have projects that are dependent on their return. The duo will shift to a new apartment by the sea in Bandra closer to Ranveer's parents' residence.

Before Deepika, Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene have opted to retain their original surnames while adding their husband’s last name too. Even recently married Sonam Kapoor rechristened herself Sonam Kapoor Ahuja after marriage. Anushka Sharma however continues to be called by the same name even after the actress tied the knot with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in December last year. What would your suggestion for Deepika be?
