The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is in progress and the Indian Cricket team is definitely on fire. Going by their performance till now, it's evident that the team has decided to bring the World Cup trophy back home. They have competed in three matches so far and won them all. After their last two consecutive victories against South Africa and Australia, the men in blue outdid team Pakistan by 89 runs on Sunday.

However, that wasn't the only highlight of the day. Ranveer Singh, who has been in the UK since couple of weeks also attended the match, which took place at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester. In fact, he also turned commentator for a bit. But it's the video of him hugging the Indian skipper Virat Kohli after the match is everything. Obviously, the actor decided to go OTT as he slipped into an oversized checkered pants, white shirt and a tie that he paired with a printed scarf and an oversized checkered long coat. Ranveer is in the UK shooting for his next film, '83, in which he plays the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. The film is being directed by Kabir Khan and it will majorly revolve around India's World Cup win in 1983. Deepika Padukone also stars in the movie. She will play the role of Kapil's wife, Romi Dev.
