With the remake of Coolie No 1 in process, we are all set to get two song remakes from the '90s. No points for guessing but the numbers will be Husn Hai Suhana and Main To Raste Se Ja Raha Tha. The Coolie No 1 remake stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan reprising the roles of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor from the original. As per reports, Husn Hai Suhana and Main To Raste... will not be remixed. But the songs will be the reprised versions. What this might mean is that we won't get the remakes like Judwaa's Chalti Kya 9 Se 12 but like Badrinath Ki Dulhania's Tamma Tamma.

Song remakes have become a fad in Bollywood over the past couple of years. Every second movie has one. The trend doesn't seem to be coming to an end anytime soon. On the work front, Sara Ali Khan is currently busy shooting for an untitled film, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The movie pairs her opposite Kartik Aaryan. The actress already has a successful remade song to her credit - Aankh Maarey from Simmba. Varun Dhawan's Kalank opened in theatres this week. He will be seen in a special role in Salman Khan's Bharat. He is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D with Shraddha Kapoor.
