Chandu Champion actor Aniruddh Dave is back with the Kabir Khan movie. He is playing the role of Jagannath Petkar, the brother of Murlikant Petkar. TV viewers have seen him on shows like Patiala Babes, YARO Ka Tashan, Woh Rehne Wali Mahalon Ki and more. In 2021, he contracted COVID-19 and was in a hospital ICU for close to 55 days. The whole TV fraternity got together to pray for the young actor who had just embraced fatherhood some months back. It seems his condition was so bad that he would struggle to speak a whole sentence for almost a year.
Aniruddh Dave in Kaagaz 2
Remembering his recovery from that near-fatal phase, he told us, "I have given a lot of steroids to just save my life. But I gained a lot of weight due to the medication. The role in Kaagaz 2 demanded a fit body as I played a soldier but I was still chosen. I got courage from working and acting. Slowly, I built a fitness routine for myself. My work kept me motivated. For every actor, it is the final dream to see oneself on the big screen. Chandu Champion has fulfilled that," he said. He reiterated that work gave him courage. "Now I look lean and well built. By the grace of God I survived the ups and downs. You need resilience to go through life," he said.
Aniruddh Dave also thanked late Satish Kaushik his mentor. "He stood by me all through. He is one of the biggest mentors of my life," he says. Aniruddh Dave has two exciting projects lined up, and will soon inform his fans.
