The couple managed to keep their nuptials a secret until June 2018. After winning the Black Entertainment Award (BET) for Best Group, Offset during her acceptance speech said, “Thank God, I thank my wife, you should thank yours.” Rumours about the couple’s secret marriage began to appear in news headline. Finally, in June, the Bodak Yellow rapper confirmed that they were married.

Cardi on her Instagram wrote, “There are so many moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love and we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married. We found someone to marry us, and she did, just two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress no make up and no ring!” It has been a year for the couple, and Cardi gave birth to their first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 10. We hope to get a few more glimpses from their special moment. Fingers crossed!
