Brahmastra: Is This Battle-Axe Ranbir Kapoor's Choice of Weapon In The Fantasy Flick?

Despite the non-successes of some of his recent ventures, Ranbir Kapoor is still in high demand and has a couple of interesting projects in hand. Of course, the movie in his repertoire that excites us the most is Brahmastra. Directed by his good friend Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a superhero fantasy flick that is touted to start a trilogy. Ranbir Kapoor is also paired up with Alia Bhatt for the first time, while Amitabh Bachchan has an important role to play in the movie. Brahmastra is co-produced by Karan Johar, which is rumoured to be his costliest production till date.

From what we heard about the movie, it has some supernatural elements and has Ranbir and Alia fight off evil forces. Now we think we have seen what Ranbir Kapoor's choice of weapon will be in this supposed war. A picture has been going  viral that has Ranbir Kapoor posing with his trainer Ido Portal, taken in Bulgaria. The three men in the picture are all holding weapons, and Ranbir's choice is a battle axe. So is Ranbir going all Gimli in Brahmastra?

Ranbir and Alia are shooting for a schedule in Bulgaria. Television actress Mouni Roy is also playing an important role in the movie. In a recent event, Ayan had this to say about the movie, “It's the biggest project of my life. All my hopes are pinned on this film. I hope it becomes the biggest success... I am very excited about the cast but I hope the film gets even bigger than the cast."

Brahmastra is scheduled to release in 2019.
