It is a sad thing that Zero has got so much negative buzz on its opening that it really killed the box office performance of the film. Which is quite unfair since Zero was not as bad as how some reviews want to portray it. It is an unusual romantic movie with flawed, but believable characters, and some fantastical themes that you rarely get to see in a Bollywood film. Zero Movie Review: Shah Rukh Khan’s Infectious Charm, Anushka Sharma’s Brilliant Act and Katrina Kaif’s Stunning Performance Win You Over!

And it is these very themes that people are finding hard to digest in ahem, ahem a Bollywood film. One of the things in Zero that many fail to comprehend was Bauua Singh's, Shah Rukh Khan's character in the movie, skill of making stars move in the sky. He attempts to do so three times in the film. Three times he succeeds, one time accidentally so, and there is one time where he spectacularly fails. It is a trait that actually doesn't need a real explanation, just like the punarjanam concept in Om Shanti Om or the idea of ghosts in any horror movie. And yet, if you are seeking for one, a Twitter user going by the handle 'AdiSRKian' has what is the most logical explanation here. Zero Box Office Collection Day 3: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Rakes in Rs 59.07 Crore in Its Opening Weekend.

If you have not seen Zero and are planning to do so, kindly DO NOT READ AHEAD for it is filled with spoilers.

So according to this user, Bauua, doesn't really move stars but he knows which meteors will fall from the sky. He knows this because he has been sleeping on the terrace of his house in Meerut, with his family. So when he had to impress Anushka's character, Aafia, he only needs to know which meteor might move at what time and position.

However, when he tried it in a different town during the party scene (featuring Sridevi, Juhi Chawla, Karishma Kapoor, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt), he couldn't because he didn't understand the skies there (which he thinks it happened because he betrayed Aafia). One of the actresses even point this out to him, but he disregards it just like us.

So what happened at NSAR when Bauua caused a meteor shower? The Twitter user pegs it to a lucky coincidence that when Bauua moves his hand toward the sky, a meteor shower happens. A meteor shower, though rare, has taken place before and in the movie, it continues to happen even as Aafia drives back home.

Does this make sense? The Twitter user also explains about Bauua's Mission Mars is a logical idea, which we have explained in this story - Zero: From Game of Thrones to Ranbir Kapoor, 18 Things You Missed in Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma’s Movie That Will Make You Appreciate It More!

However, I would like to look at it from a different perspective. Why do you even want to give a logical explanation to this scene and let it remain mythical? Just like there is no real explanation of how an astronaut turns into a star baby in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Or why there is a frog rain in Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia. Or is there any logic in the memory erasing process in Michel Gondry's Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind?  Isn't that the fun of watching cinema at its magical best?
