Zaira Wasim shot to fame with her debut film, Dangal. She shared screen space with Aamir Khan in her first film. From the film’s plot to the young actress’ performance, movie buffs went all gaga. Then she did her second film Secret Superstar, which was also a huge hit. Her third film is The Sky Is Pink in which she is sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar and Rohit Saraf. The film’s lead pair is busy with the promotional activities. It was during one of the interviews with a leading tabloid when Farhan was asked about Zaira’s decision on quitting films. Just few days ago even Priyanka Chopra Jonas was asked about Zaira Wasim’s retirement from films, She told Mirror, “It’s a personal choice. Who are we to dictate what someone should and shouldn’t do? She is an amazing actor who has done incredible work. We will always wish her the best.” Now the same question was posed to Farhan as well to which he responded, “Every individual has the right to decide what they want to do with their life and it's not for us to say if that's right or wrong. But purely as someone who's worked with her, I hope Zaira changes her mind,” reports the tabloid.

Zaira Wasim would be seen playing the role of Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar’s daughter named Aisha Chaudhary in the film. It was after the shooting of the film that Zaira announced about her decision to quit the film industry.
