Today is World Hello Day. This word 'Hello' has been part of our system now and we hardly need any help to blurt it out. The moment our phone rings, we pick it up and say Hello. So why does it have a day? Well as per Wikipedia, 'World Hello Day is a secular holiday observed annually on November 21, to express that conflicts should be resolved through communication rather than the use of force.' It was founded by Brian McCormack, a Ph.D. graduate of Arizona State University, and Michael McCormack, a graduate of Harvard University in 1973.
