Revenge dramas are always relished by the Bollywood fanatics. One such movie in 2015 was Varun Dhawan starrer Badlapur. No one could imagine that the always bubbly Dhawan could pull off such a dark role. After he won the critics and masses with this Sriram Raghavan movie, there has been a huge demand for the sequel. Good news is, the makers are soon coming up with the sequel. However, the sad part is that the makers still cannot make up their mind whether Varun will be a part of it.

A source was quote saying by a tabloid, "Sriram will give Dinesh a choice of two scripts. The first is an adventure thriller while the other one is a revenge drama. The latter is on the lines of Badlapur and Dinesh wants to pitch it as Badlapur 2. But it is not a follow-up on the earlier story, this is a different plot altogether but in the same zone."

Talking about the inclusion of Judwaa 2 actor in this project, the source further added, "Sriram usually prefers to cast for his film only after his script is ready. But yes, the makers are on the lookout for an A-lister. It’s too early to confirm if Varun will be a part of the project."

Sriram Raghavan is currently working on a film tentatively titled as Shoot The Piano Player that stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte. Speaking of Varun, he will be next seen in Sharat Katariya's Sui Dhaaga opposite Anushka Sharma. He will also be seen in Shoojit Sircar directed October opposite Banita Sandhu.
