Shah Rukh Khan has been one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood since decades. After acquiring the title of King of Bollywood, the fans are demanding him to be in Hollywood too. Just like how Priyanka Chopra has made her own place in the west, his admirers wonder why isn't SRK taking a step to venture into that place just like PeeCee and other Bollywood celebs who have done it. However, the superstar's answer is to this humble, valid and straight to the point.

In an interaction with Economic Times, the actor-producer said, "They have to look at me; I can’t look at them. I look at the moon every day but I don’t reach for it. It started with Om Puriji and now Priyanka, Irrfan and so many others are doing it. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is getting some films. Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) has done some, Anupam Kher too has and it’s wonderful. But I have never been offered an opportunity. I don’t even know if I am good enough to do it — I think my English is a little weak (smiles)"

While we agree to most of the part that he said, we surely don't agree with the last sentence. SRK is known to be one of the best orators in the country. His language, wit and thoughts blend together so well, that he feel that he is the perfect person for Hollywood films as well. But the mighty superstar makes another valid point why he is not venturing into Hollywood.

He further says, "My own attempt is to make Indian films watched at that level. Again, not taking away from the greatness of anything that others have achieved, I’d like Tom Cruise to say one day that ‘I’ve been given a chance in a Hindi film’. Man, that will be wonderful. Christopher Nolan would say that there is a producer in India who wants him to make a film. Inshallah, that will happen."

When it 's Shah Rukh Khan, you'll always find a new perspective in his interactions and here is one more. All said and done, we would definitely love to see him in the films abroad as that will give his fans an opportunity to watch him doing something more interesting. What are your thoughts?
