Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut's relationship is anything but healthy. From taking digs at each other at various instances to her calling him a flag bearer of nepotism, their war of words is quite popular in B-town. And unless you are living under the rock, you would know everything about their verbal spat. However, their personal and professional hatred towards each other are two completely different things and there's no way K Jo is going to let one affect the other. In his recent interaction with the Huffington Post when the director was asked if he has any qualms working with the Manikarnika actress, his reply was commendable and deserved a round of applause. Manikarnika Movie Review: Kangana Ranaut’s Dominant Show Gives an Energetic Appeal to This Faltering Historical Drama.

According to the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director, if a script demands her presence and if she's best-suited for the role, he will not think twice before approaching her. “I have no problem with her. Tomorrow, if I feel like she is really required for a film, I will work with her. The film I was directing didn’t have any scope for her, in my opinion, and no director has come to me with the desire to cast her. I, therefore, have not cast her. No lead actor has asked for her. Just because we had personal differences doesn’t mean we are not going to work together," he said. Karan Johar is 'Grateful' as BCCI Lifts Ban on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul After KWK 6 Fiasco, Says They Deserve a Second Chance (Watch Video).

And while Karan has no qualms in approaching her, we wonder what Kangana has to say about this. Citing Anurag Kashyap's example, he said, "I am a working filmmaker. I don’t have problems or issues with anybody and I certainly don’t take them to my workplace. If the film demands a Kangana, if a filmmaker wants her then why not? It’s a commercial deal and there are no emotions involved in commerce.” The director earlier had his tussle with Kashyap but he approached him to pen dialogues for his film, Kurbaan. We certainly hope we get to see Kangana in a Karan directorial very soon. That's one interesting combination we are really rooting for.
