The actor has thanked Rohit Shetty enough for having him given this opportunity to be a part of a blockbuster hit like Simmba. In fact, in an interview recently, Ranveer had mentioned how he was always aiming at being a hero and not an actor, which, thanks to Rohit Shetty, he is now! Well, this isn't the first time when the director's movie has minted loads of money but films like Chennai Express and Diwale also did pretty well at the box office, let alone the storyline. According to latest reports, the director has now decided to rope in Salman Khan for his next. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, the film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.  "Rohit and Sajid have met a couple of times to not just discuss the possibilities of collaborating on a film with Salman in the lead but also on the content. Among the many ideas they have discussed, one is a spin-off to the character of Devi Lal Singh AKA Devil from Kick, Sajid’s successful directorial debut. The 2014 film had an open ending with Salman’s character donning the khaki uniform. If the idea materialises as planned, it could be the take-off for Rohit’s film,” informs a source close to the development. Since the talks about Kick 2 had already been going on and now that the source has also confirmed that the story will be a spin- off to Salman's character from Kick, we're assuming it is going to be the sequel to the movie that they're in talks about. The report also suggests that the film will be releasing in Christmas 2020 which brings us to the conclusion that the movie might clash with Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4, which is also aiming at the same date. While nothing about the release date of the Rohit Shetty- film is confirmed yet, we hope Hrithik and Salman do clash at the box office!
