Shah Rukh Khan is quite the entertainer be it on or off screen. His interviews are a delight to watch or read, and his frank sense of humour have made us chuckle many times. In many of his interviews, Shah Rukh Khan has reiterated his attachment to his family, especially to his kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. When he is not busy shooting for any movie, or ads, or giving talks at international venues, Shah Rukh Khan tries to spend maximum time with his kids as much as possible. He wants to be a part of their growing up stages, even if it means, teaching them how to abuse correctly!
Recently, an old interview that Shah Rukh Khan gave to GQ had popped up, in which King Khan was quite honest about his views on sex, relationships, affairs and parenting. In the same interview, SRk revealed about the time he taught son Aryan how to use swear words correctly!
Reminiscing about how he heard Aryan use the F-word first, SRK had said, "The first time I heard Aryan use the four-letter word, he was shooting a toy gun around the dining table, going, “F**k, f**k, f**k”, while we had some guests over. But I think he’d seen it in some movie and was repeating it. He thought that’s what you’re supposed to shout while firing a gun. So I explained to him what it means. Actually, I’ve told both of them: “Look, I’m from Delhi, I know a lot of bad language. It’s a way of life for North Indians – or maybe it was for me. But I never used it in front of my parents, I never let it slip out."
Then he revealed how he coached his son to abuse properly and how Gauri (his wife) chided him for doing so. He said, "The other day, he (Aryan) came home from a football match, and I asked him, 'Did you abuse anyone?' And he went, 'Yeah, Papa'. I asked him, 'Which ones?' And he gave me some choice ones. And I was very disturbed, because they had some accent in them. They didn’t sound fully Hindi. So I sat him down and said, 'Do it if you must, but do it properly. Theek se bolo.' Gauri got very angry. She said, 'Why are you teaching him bad language?'"
His reply is golden. "I said, 'I’m not teaching him, he already knew.'"
Well, we don't know if it is good parenting, but kudos for being honest about it!
Shah Rukh Khan will be seen next in Zero, where he will play a vertically challenged man. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as the female lead, as well as a slew of cameos. It will be the last onscreen appearance of late actress Sridevi.
