There are a few comedy mass entertainers in the Bollywood world that have actually turned out to be franchise worthy. One of them is Anees Bazmee's Welcome. The film first tickled the audience with kick-ass humor by Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. There was also a second installment that had John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in the lead. Now, according to the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the cast and crew is set to reunite for a third installment. But who will be the lead stars?

A source told the tabloid, "Anil will continue to play Majnu, Nana returns as Uday Shetty while Paresh plays Dr Ghunghroo. While the first two instalments were more about comedy, this one will have action in equal measure. Locations are currently being finalised with shooting schedules also being planned in Tokyo and Osaka."

The source further revealed that the scenes from the flick will be shot at Ground Zero in New York, near the World Trade Centre. They have approached Oscar winning German composer Hans Zimmer for the background score,” the source adds. Zimmer is known for his background music in the films like The Lion King in 1995, Crimson Tide (1996) and The Dark Knight (2009).

The flick is sure to be grander with the third installment but we hope that the humor, which is the backbone of the franchise, stays intact! Also, we really hope that the makers try to get the original stars, Akki and Kat on board yet again for the sake of the fans! What do you think?
