War that stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, has managed to get a humongous total on its first Sunday at the box office. As per early estimates, it earned Rs 36 crore which is the biggest number for this year. The film will easily score a big opening weekend number. It got a five day extended weekend as it released on October 2 i.e. Wednesday. The latter gave it the jumpstart it needed by earning Rs 53.35 crore and now the trending is on. War is trending way better for a film which didn't enjoy as big a screen count as any other big movies. It defeated Thugs Of Hindostan on its first day with screens lesser that TOH. That says it all. In fact, the total of Rs 160 crore if reached will make it surpass Bharat's total as well. This Salman Khan film opened in 4700 screens while War has 4200 screens.

War will get another big push in collections tomorrow as it's Dussehra. That will help this film earn Rs 200 crore or more by the end of the opening week. If that happens, this will be Tiger Shroff's biggest hit and also his first film to reach the Rs 200 crore mark.
