Everyone's eyes are on War now. It's been a while since the theatres have been blessed with a big budget, stylish, sleek and eye-pleasing actioner and War fills that blank perfectly. No wonder trade pundits are predicting exceptional numbers for the film to earn on the first day. While many are quite confident that it will beat Thugs Of Hindustan's record of highest day 1 numbers, others are of the view that it will be the biggest opener of 2019. After all, the industry needs a big win as much as it loves the small and striking victories. Gandhi Jayanti 2019 Releases: Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s War, Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker
Trade expert Ramesh Bala feels that War will earn somewhere between Rs 45 crore to Rs 50 crore. If it earns the latter, it will be on par with TOH's first day total which is Rs 52.25 crore. But beating it would be too much to ask. Although War will get the maximum share of screens, it isn't hitting the theatres as a solo release. There is Chiranjeevi's Syeraa Narasimha Reddy and Hollywood film Joker. Both the films have a good buzz around them but screens will be shared.

Sumit Kadel's Prediction
As i said earlier #WAR is eying Highest Day-1 collection record in West Bengal & its certain it’s going to achieve it. HUGE advance booking is registered across the state, with still 4 days left for the release, most of the shows on Day1 would be sold out in advance.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

If War gets the start everybody is predicting, it will also become the biggest Gandhi Jayanti opener ever. It could even become the highest-grossing film that released on October 2 but gloss can only do so much. The substance will decide if the film will manage to create the history everybody has been predicting.
