The IPL season is about to start and the cricket fanatics have some exciting months lying ahead of them. While the teams will be busy displaying their cricket skills, commercial brands, on the other hand, will grab all the opportunity to mint some extra money. As we all know, the commercial ad breaks between each overs cost a hefty sum to these brands and it's advisable that they pitch in the right content. Of course, the content is coupled with a known face that can be tagged as a brand ambassador. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, three different brands are currently eyeing to spend over Rs 250 crores on Aamir in 40 days for the ongoing IPL season. Nope, we aren't exaggerating and advertisers have, in fact, decided to spend this huge amount on one actor alone. The three prime sponsors of the cricket league have pitched Aamir Khan to be the only face seen on the TV screens during the matches. Among the three brands, he'll continue to be the face of a smartphone brand that he already endorses.

In addition, a digital payment company, PhonePe has also roped in the actor as its first ever brand ambassador. When asked about the reason behind choosing Khan, the CEO of the company said, "His name is synonymous with sincerity, hard work and dedication to his craft. These are values that are completely in sync with PhonePe’s ethos of trust, security and reliability. Therefore, we felt that Aamir is the perfect brand ambassador for our company as we look to introduce digital payments to a billion Indians". BCCI Donates IPL Opening Ceremony Funds to CRPF and Armed Forces.

The third brand is a premium shoe brand and they will start their television campaign with the actor this IPL season. While he prefers to shoot for one movie at a time, we are glad he's all game when it comes to signing brand commercials.
